Career
Richard (Dick) Norton commentated for Colour Pictorial between 1963 and1965. His first credit is for ‘TWENTY-FOUR HOURS AT LE MANS’ in No.447 of July 1963. Others include ‘DRUM MAJORETTES’ in No.480 of March 1964 and ‘RHINE WINE FESTIVAL’ in No.522 of December 1964. His last credit is ‘CYPRUS’ in No.550 of July 1965. Most of Pathe’s commentators during thisd period were actors, so although there is no record of Dick Norton, it is likely that he too was an actor contracted to Pathe.
