Career
Stan Speel was a cameraman who in March 1956 filmed the start of the Boat Race for ‘CAMBRIDGE WIN BOAT RACE’ in British Paramount News No.2616. He may not have been very experienced, as he confessed that his shot of tossing the coin before the start was ‘spoilt through ungentlemanly behavior of assistant of cameraman at Boathouse.'
