- History
- Our Magazine was produced by Wallace Film Productions for the Children’s Film Foundation as a successor to Our Club Magazine. Each of the sixteen issues was eleven minutes long, containing four stories that featured young children, normally engaged in educational or sporting activities. The magazines were shown at children’s cinema clubs, or Saturday matinees, around Britain. Issue no. 2 of the series, along with the CFF feature film STOLEN PLANS (1952) was awarded ‘Best Complete Programme for Children 11 - 14’ at the Venice Film Festival 1952. Issue no. 6 was entered for the festival in 1954, and issue no. 7 in 1955.
