Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Queen Visits Chiltern Towns. DESCRIPTION: Her Majesty recently visited Adeyfield, part of the newly developed area of Hemel Hempstead. She also attended an open air service, conducted by the Bishop of St Albans. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV Adeyfield. Various shots of Adeyfield, Queen drives through greeted by VIP. Bouquet presented by Lorna Humphries, who curtsies. At St Albans, an open air service, followed by Queen laying foundation stone of new church of St Barnabas. At new town (Hemel Hempstead) Queen goes into one of the houses, small child (Susan Applegate) stands by door in small swim trunks. Queen drives away.
