Summary
At Sandbach in Cheshire, Lord Chandos (for the makers) handed over a key to Lord Rusholme (Chairman, London Midland Area) and contact was made between engine and overhead cables. Then, the driver took out this very important loco, which marks a big step forward in the British Railways Modernisation Plan.
