- Description
- The coast is the dynamic border between land and sea; powered by the tides and thrashed by waves this is a world of continuous change. Opportunities never last long here so hunters are always in a race against time. Perfect timing is crucial to the success of most predators and nowhere is this more important than at the coasts.
Many coastal predators must risk leaving their favoured habitat to hunt in this ‘no man’s land’ and some take huge risks hunting here. To succeed at the coast you need to be tough, ingenious and have a good sense of timing. The coast is the only place on the planet where predators from air, land and sea come together. In Race Against Time we will see dolphins with a remarkable hunting strategy, octopus that can walk, ingenious monkeys, fishing wolves, the world’s smallest marine mammal and the greatest gathering of feeding humpback whales. For all timing is everything. - Genre
