Description
Pyrographer Richard from Bolton and embroidery artist Connie from County Down, Northern Ireland, are both hoping to turn their passions into full-time jobs. Richard’s dream is to give up work as a caretaker and create a pyrography business at home so he can be around more for his son Jack. His mentor Eben thinks the key to his success might come from collaborating with a whisky distillery to reach more customers. Connie found her craft during a difficult time in her life, and after working hard to become an animal behaviour scientist, she decided to push herself outside of her comfort zone and start an embroidery business. Mentor Stephanie thinks she has the talent and potential to do well but needs to define herself as an animal artist if she is to succeed. Both talented makers are given two months to take on board all the advice they’ve been given from Dom and the team, but can they bring in enough cash from their customers to turn their passions into full-time professions?
