Beatlemania

Description
In 1966, at the height of their fame, the Beatles stopped touring. Ten years after it all began they left the stage at Candlestick Park in San Francisco and vowed never to perform live again. It was a pledge they kept. Although the music carried on with more albums and films, for many 1966 was the true end of the Beatles. This film looks back at the touring years and reveals the reasons why the same thing that kept them going through those gruelling times on the road, would lead to them never taking to the stage again.
