- Description
- In Waterworlds, Chris takes a breathtaking journey, from the high mountain streams of Iceland, via the wetlands of Brazil and the swamps of Bangladesh, to the depths of the Indian Ocean - and back again. He reveals the story, not only of how water brings life to our planet, but how animals and plants survive in and actually create these watery habitats. Getting enough oxygen and food in a swirling, constantly changing environment is a huge daily challenge. It’s something only made possible, by some unsung heroes of nature. Chris tells the stories of why the ferocious giant otter of Brazil needs a snail; why a tiger needs a tiny crab and why a shark needs- a sponge!
