- Description
- Episode Two will go on to explore how this extreme variety expresses itself today - how the breeds differ in their behaviour and their senses. It will feature five key senses: smell, touch, taste, hearing and vision. What effect do these physical differences have on a dog’s abilities? Will a Poodle have a better sense of smell than a bloodhound? Does a Basset Hound hear less well because of its floppy ears? And is a Pug’s peripheral vision preferable? As we unravel each sense we will look at it works in the context of the extraordinary range of roles dogs play in our society today.
