- Synopsis
- Television drama series. Second episode of the second series of murder mysteries. In this episode, written by Malcolm Bradbury, the detective duo investigate a serial killer who has carried out three ritual stranglings. The only clue Dalziel and Pascoe have to the killer’s identity is a quote from Shakespeare’s Hamlet.

- The crime drama series is based on Reginald Hill’s novels about two Yorkshire detectives. In the tradition of apparently mismatched detective duos, the characters are divided by attitude, class and generation.
