Life is Worth Living [21/02/1953]
- Synopsis
- US moral and religious talk series presented by Bishop Fulton J. Sheen. One of his regular themes was the evils of communism. In this episode Archbishop Sheen intones the burial scene from Julius Caesar. However, instead of the names of Caesar, Cassius, Mark Antony and Brutus he substitutes the leading communist names of the day Stalin, Beria, Malenkov, and Vishinsky. At the end of the reading Sheen pronounces "Stalin must one day meet his judgment’. Only days later, Joseph Stalin suffered a sudden stroke and died, and so myths were created.
