- Synopsis
- Television detective series. On a work trip to London to learn the techniques of the British police, Columbo becomes involved in the murder of Roger Haversham. Haversham is a rich businessman financing the careers of two has-been actors, a husband-and-wife team. When Sir Roger threatens to end his patronage they murder him. A sign at the Royal Court Theatre, London proclaims ‘Sir Roger presents Nicholas Framer and Lilian Stanhope in William Shakespeare’s Macbeth. There are a few scenes from Macbeth, acted very hammily.
