- Reviews
- Peter Morris in his survey ‘Shakespeare On Film’, Films in Review 24:3 (1973), pp132-163 notes’Excellent use is made of cross-lighting, silhouette shots, double exposures, key lighting and wide-angle lenses. A striking tracking shot is used in the scene in which Birnam Wood comes to Dunsinane. All in all, it seems like an interesting test run for Welles’ version two years later’.
