Synopsis
Radio documentary. Part 1 of an eight-part series in which Howard Goodall explores links between musical genres. In the first episode Goodall chooses music inspired by the works of Shakespeare with excerpts from stage and film productions, operas and overtures. Includes an interview with Michael Nyman, composer of the soundtrack to PROSPERO’S BOOKS.
