- Broadcast as episode 284 of the BBC drama anthology ‘Thirty-Minute Theatre’ which was inaugurated in 1965 and became the first drama series to be produced and broadcast in colour. After a nine-year-run during which more than 300 episodes were transmitted, the series eventually drew to a close in August 1973.
