Top of the Pops [13/06/2003]
- Synopsis
- Long-running television pop music series presented by Lisa Snowdon and Sarah Cawood. This episode featured the British boy band One True Voice (later abbreviated to OTV) singing their top ten hit ‘Shakespeare’s (Way With) Words’. The band was created by ITV’s talent series POPSTARS: THE RIVALS. The chorus goes as follows:
`If I had Shakespeare’s way with words,
I would write a sonnet, put your name upon it,
How can I be heard?
In my heart I am a poet, don’t know how to show it,
If only I had Shakespeare’s way with words’.
The band split up shortly afterwards. - Series
