- Synopsis
- Television magazine arts series. The programme includes a profile, by Tony Palmer, of Michael Croft’s National Youth Theatre. Over 400 young people from all over the country have been spending their holidays working on five different productions including Macbeth and an updated Julius Caesar. Sets, props and costumes are produced entirely by the NYT members. Includes interviews with the National Youth Theatre’s President, Sir Ralph Richardson, theatre critic Milton Shulman, and ex-NYT member Bill Kenwright.
