Television arts documentary. Ken Dodd talks to Melvyn Bragg about his career and theories of comedy. Includes Dodd in performance at Manchester Palace Theatre, and reproducing his ‘straight’ role as Malvolio especially for the programme - II v when Malvolio finds the letter. Dodd comments on his interpretation of the role.
