King Lear Jet
- Synopsis
- US television sitcom about a former journalist, Maya Gallo, who begins a new job writing for her father’s women’s magazine Blush. Jack has two tickets for a London performance of King Lear, but when forced to cancel his plans he has to decide who should have the tickets. Will it be Nina and Elliott who just want the vacation or Shakespeare-lover Maya? The plot of the sitcom loosely parallels the play in that Nina and Elliott get the tickets but their feuding and antagonism proves their undoing while Maya stays loyal to her father.
