Notes
- Reviews
- In his book on The BBC and its Audience (London Nelson, 1939) Basil Maine criticises this production for the fact that the stage comedy was over-stressed; the players laughed too much: "after a few guffaws of the actors and their all-but-visible back-slapping made my hostess so nervous that ... she switched off" (p. 105)
