Synopsis
Documentary about Gareth Armstrong’s SHYLOCK, a one-person show written and performed by Armstrong and directed by Frank Barrie. Includes a backstage interview with Armstong in which he discusses the character of Shylock, the stage history of the play and anti-semitism in Elizabethan England and Nazi Germany. There are brief performance excerpts.
