Synopsis
Radio play produced and adapted for broadcasting by Peter Creswell. Scenes from Shakespeare’s As You Like It are supplemented by text from Rosalynde by Thomas Lodge, a romance which Shakespeare used as source for his play. The chief additions to Shakespeare’s comedy consist of sonnets from Lodge’s version, set to music composed and conducted by Julian Herbage and sung by Rosalind and other characters.
