Synopsis

Part 3 HAMLET includes excerpts from Ambroise Thomas’ Hamlet (London Philharmonic Orchestra/Antonio de Almeida), Liszt’s Hamlet (London Philharmonic Orchestra/Bernard Haitink), Berlioz’s Tristia (Cleveland Chorus and Orchestra/Pierre Boulez) and William Walton’s film music from Olivier’s HAMLET conducted by the composer.
