Leviathan Smiles
- Synopsis
- American television western drama. Concerns Deadwood, Dakota and charts Deadwood’s growth from camp to town incorporating such themes as the setting up of communities and western capitalism. The third series has a subplot involving travelling actors. In LEVIATHAN SMILES Jack (Brian Cox) and his ailing friend Chesterton (Aubrey Morris) go to a theatre and begin to rehearse the Dover cliff scene from King Lear. During the rehearsal Chesterton dies. Both actors remain seated and recite their lines from memory.
