Notes

General
And Now in Colour is a British comedy sketch show featuring four writer-performers from the Cambridge revue tradition. Standard sketches are interspersed with sections of character dialogue and a selection of songs. Each show is presented as if it was coming from some exterior location (fairground, space shuttle, etc.).
History
The production was piloted for television in May 1993. According to J.B. Sumner (radiohaha), an initial untransmitted version, based on the final show of the second series, was eventually transmuted into a straightforward compilation of sketches. Featuring mainly recycled radio material but only two of the original cast - de Jongh and Vandyck - the title was changed to It’s A Mad World, World, World, World and made it to the screen as a one-off BBC2 special.  Its critical reception was reasonable but no series followed.
