- Shakespeare’s Palpable Hits grew out of Dog Legs & Feet’s involvement in the underground theatre scene in Austin and Central Texas. Several of the band members are alumni of the University of Texas’ Shakespeare at Winedale performance program, and wrote music for plays performed in the Winedale theatre stretching back to 1990.
- History
- In 2003 the band Dog Legs & Feet worked with the University of Texas to produce a commemorative album of "greatest hits" from Shakespeare productions. Later that year, the band re-mastered and enhanced the album to produce a commercial version -- Shakespeare’s Palpable Hits, released on March 1, 2004.
