Driving Lessons
- Synopsis
- Feature film. Ben (Grint), the 17 year-old son of a vicar (Farrell), feels stifled by his devoutly religious mother (Linney). His meeting with Evie (Walters), a retired, unsuccessful actress given to reciting from Shakespeare in her garden, turns his world upside down. In an attempt to escape his mother’s domineering behaviour, the boy leaves to work for Evie, following her to Edinburgh. There, Evie teaches him how to drive and Ben begins to come into his own.
