Synopsis
Political satire series led by impressionist Rory Bremner. Includes a sketch commenting on the Tony Blair/Gordon Brown power struggle. Rory Bremner, as European Trade Commissioner (and Blairite) Peter Mandelson, delivers a version of Mark Antony’s funeral oration speech (III, ii). Blair is the fallen Caesar, Gordon the treacherous Brutus ‘for Gordon is an honourable man’.
