- Synopsis
- Feature film. A version of Othello transported to a shanty town section of Rio de Janeiro. Otelo is the leader of a samba band, Emilia an agreeable black woman, Cassio a guitar player, Iago provides a black malevolent presence and the handkerchief gets entangled in voodoo rites.
