- Synopsis
- Television series hosted by Nanette Fabray and dedicated to the belief that ‘experimentation in television is vital to the future’. The episode presents the work of deaf actors in rehearsal at the amphitheatre of the Eugene O’Neill Memorial Theatre Foundation in Waterford, Connecticut, The dramatic potential of sign languages, and its implications of a national theatre for the deaf, are explored through various performances. One such workshop shows director Gene Lasko working on excerpts from Hamlet.
