- Synopsis
- Television programme. The planning of the Colorado Shakespeare Festival provides the raw material for an examination of the audition, casting, rehearsal and performance experience. Revealing the rewards and disappointments inherent in the theatrical profession, the film follows individual actors and actresses from pre-audition warm-ups through casting to rehearsal and performance. It explores the directors’ criteria and artistic concepts in selecting a cast.
