One of a series of seven films produced by the National Geographic Society in association with the television station WQED, Pittsburgh. Carnegie Mellon University and the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, Stratford-upon-Avon. The film introduces Shakespeare’s life and times set against buildings and places associated with him. Narrated by Jeffery Dench.
