In his Radio Times review column "What’s on the Air?", J.C.W. Reith comments: "Mr. Norman V. Norman and Miss Beatrice Wilson should prove ideal as wireless Shakespeare players. They are, of course, very popular on the legitimate stage. Playing with them will be Mr. J.H. Barnes, who tells us that he has been fifty years on the stage. You wouldn’t guess it from his voice" (12 October 1923, p. 70).
