Synopsis
Radio documentary. Gwen Ffrangcon-Davies, 97 years old, talks about her performance as Juliet and other Shakespearean women in conversation with Nigel Hawthorne. Ffrangcon-Davies recites extracts from Romeo and Juliet, Much Ado About Nothing, King Henry VIII and The Merchant of Venice. She also speaks of being advised by Ellen Terry and her experiences acting in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Hamlet.
