Front Row [03/01/2007]
- Synopsis
- Radio arts review programme presented by Mark Lawson. Includes a 10-minute interview with dramatists Roy Williams and Rona Munro, both of whom were commissioned by the Royal Shakespeare Company to write a play in response to one of Shakespeare’s works. Munro relates how she came to write her play, The Indian Boy (based on A Midsummer Night’s Dream), while Williams talks about his Days of Significance, loosely based on Much Ado About Nothing, which is set in market-town England and the deserts of Iraq.
