Unteachables, The [11/10/2005]

Synopsis
Documentary reality show, in four parts, following a teaching project for sixteen disaffected and disruptive thirteen year olds, attempting to bring them back to the process of education and learning. The programmes followed teacher Phil Beadle (winner of the government sponsored ‘Schoolteacher of the Year Award’). In this episode he asks each child to recite a Shakespeare speech to a cow which they do, finding it easier than speaking in front of critical and giggling peers.
