Another Point of View, Or, Hamlet Revisited

Synopsis
Radio anthology drama series. The drama, narrated by William Conrad, is described as ‘an analytical misrepresentation of Shakespeare’s greatest hero figure...The drama judges the play’s characters on the basis of contemporary values, concluding that Hamlet is a ‘selfish, manipulative, callous man who is uninterested in anything but his own position and advancement, Claudius is a patriot who killed his brother for the good of Denmark, and does everything he can to help Hamlet make the social adaptations needed for a successful life’. [Jensen, op cit].
