Twelfth Night
- Synopsis
- Radio adaptation of Twelfth Night by Carl Ritchie of Angus L. Bowmer’s stage production for the 1959 Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Jensen (op cit) notes that the broadcast was made as part of Oregon’s 100th anniversary as a state and the OSF was aked to produce a show that brought together Queen Elizabeth, British explorers and Shakespeare. Ritchie wrote Mask of the New World in response to this commission, and excerpts are included in this broadcast.
