Synopsis
Feature film offering an interpretation of Hamlet set in contemporary Sao Paolo. Joao (Cruz) discovers through a spiritual medium that his uncle Claudio has killed his father in a bid to gain control of the city’s drug trade. He decides to recreate the events which led to the murder in order to get Claudio to confess his crime, which he successfully does. Claudio sends Joao away when he accidentally kills Polonio, the father of his girlfriend Ofelia. Finally Joao returns to seek retribution.
