Best Men

Synopsis
Feature film. Jesse Reilly (Wilson) is released from prison to get married. He is picked up by four friends, one of whom is actor Billy Phillips (Flanery) who, unknown to the group, is a Shakespeare-quoting bank robber nicknamed ‘Hamlet’. On the way to the wedding Billy robs a bank to buy a wedding present. The four friends become involved in a stand-off with the local sheriff (Billy’s father) and the FBI. The film features many references to Hamlet including during the initial hold-up. Billy also offers Polonius’ advice ‘to thine own self be true’ to his gay friend Buzz.
