Synopsis
Educational film. Actor Hans Conreid discusses aspects of Shakespeare’s works standing before a series of sculptured figures depicting memorable scenes from eight plays. Behind-the-scenes voices speak various lines. Conreid reads passages involving several characters and, in costume and make-up, portrays several characters as they might be presented on the stage.
