Synopsis
Staged in honour of Rudolf Nureyev on the tenth anniversary of his death. Introduced by Makhar Vaziev, director of the Maryinsky Theatre. Ballet excerpts are performed by dancers from the Kirov Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet and Royal Ballet. Includes the pas de deux from Romeo and Juliet choreographed by Kenneth MacMillan, music by Serge Prokofiev danced by Alina Cojocaru and Johan Kobborg (8mins).
