- Synopsis
- Feature film. Murder mystery amidst a provincial stage production of Macbeth. The characters believe that the deaths, including that of the director, are a result of the curse of ‘the Scottish play’ but the police are unconvinced and the crime is solved. Several scenes illustrate parallels in the relationships between the characters in the film and the characters in Macbeth; a number of scenes from the production are included.
