Animation. A fictional account of 400 years of the history of England in a series of tableaux, from the feudal communities of the Middle Ages, through the Industrial Revolution and the rise of the merchants and industrial bourgeoisie, to the Peterloo massacre. In one sequence there is a scene from Macbeth.
