Josepha

Synopsis
Feature film. Josepha Manet (Miou-Miou) is an actress married to actor Michel Laurent (Brasseur). They both have affairs and Josepha eventually leaves Michel for her lover, Regis. Michel continues with his acting career and is offered the role of Macbeth at the National Theatre. Hearing of his good fortune Josepha goes to see Michael in rehearsal. Four sequences from the dress rehearsal are shown (see Lanier op cit for details). A final detail is that Michel and Josepha’s dog is called Iago.
