Melody and Romance

Synopsis
Musical comedy. A young man (Green) aspires to a career as a radio star. Along the way, the falls in love with a scientist’s daughter (Lockwood). He then adds several talented friends to his act and eventually finds success. On the night of their big radio performance, fire erupts and he ends up saving the scientist’s daughter. In one scene, in an uncredited role, Charles Hawtrey auditions for a part by reciting Hamlet’s ‘to be or not to be’ soliloquy.
