- Synopsis
- Feature film based on Romeo and Juliet. The family feuds between the Chus and the Laws are aggravated by the romance between Chu Lai-Ngo and Law Mo-yin. Chu fakes her death to evade an arranged marriage. Unaware of Chu’s plot, Law kills himself. When Chu awakes to find Law dead she commits suicide. The death of the lovers brings about a reconciliation of the families.
