Macbeth Film Trailer
- Synopsis
- 60-Second Shakespeare is a BBC project to encourage UK students to create their own 60-second interpretations of Shakespeare using audio, video, animation and IT skills. This film is presented as a trailer for Macbeth shot as a film noir gangster film using music from Carl Orff’s ‘Carmina Burana’ written between 1935-6. Extracts from the original text have been used to show that although the language is dated, the themes and issues are timeless.
