- Synopsis
- Current affairs radio series with John Humphrys. This edition reports on the ‘new’ court poem ‘To The Queen’. The poem has recently been given scholarly imprimateur and included in the new edition of Shakespeare’s complete works edited by Jonathan Bate and Eric Rasmussen. The 18-line poem is read by RSC actor Geoffrey Streatfeild, the conceit being that the 21st April is Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday.
